Account Deletion & Data Erasure Policy

Medigence Health Private Limited

At Medigence Health, we respect your right to privacy and the “Right to be Forgotten.” This policy outlines how you can terminate your relationship with us and what happens to your data once you do.

1. THE DELETION PROCESS

Account deletion is user-initiated and permanent. To delete your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Medigence Health User Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Menu and select Data Privacy.
  3. Click the Delete Account button and confirm your choice.

2. TIMELINE & DATA REMOVAL

Once you click the “Delete Account” button:

  • Immediate Initiation: The deletion process begins the moment the request is submitted.
  • 48-Hour Deadline: All personal data, credentials, and account settings will be permanently erased from our active databases within 48 hours.
  • Access Revocation: Your login credentials will be invalidated immediately, and you will lose access to all platform features, patient data history, and dashboards.

3. PERMANENCE & RE-REGISTRATION

Deletion is irreversible.

  • We do not offer a “cool-off” period. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
  • If you choose to use Medigence Health again in the future, you must start from scratch. This includes a full new registration, credential verification, and manual data entry. No previous records or settings will be restored.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & REFUNDS

If you have an active paid subscription at the time of deletion:

  • No Refunds: In accordance with our terms, deleting your account during an active subscription period does not entitle you to a refund of any remaining balance or pro-rated fees.
  • Cancellation: Deleting your account automatically cancels any future recurring billing associated with that account.

5. LEGAL RETENTION CAVEAT

While we delete your user profile and active data within 48 hours, Medigence Health is legally required to comply with national laws regarding Medical Record Retention and Audit Logs.

  • Clinical Data: Per National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines, certain clinical records or consultation logs may be retained in an encrypted, archived format for the legally mandated period (typically 3 years) for audit and liability purposes.
  • Financial Logs: Transaction records will be kept as required by tax and corporate laws.

6. CONTACT
